FSA survey of pathogens and AMR on frozen chicken.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) is procuring a survey to test frozen chicken for E. coli, Campylobacter, Salmonella, and antimicrobial resistance (AMR). The contractor will collect and analyze samples from retail and catering outlets across the UK, providing data on prevalence and levels of these pathogens and AMR markers. The survey aims to inform FSA's risk assessment and policy. Bidders must have accredited microbiology laboratories and experience in large-scale food surveillance. The contract is expected to run for 12 months with possible extension.
