Eel pass design and optioneering study for three sites.
The Environment Agency is seeking a contractor to complete an optioneering study and detailed design for eel passage improvements at three sites in the North East Hub. The project aims to provide long-term safe passage for eels past structures, with solutions that are cost-effective, robust, and easy to maintain. Non-powered solutions are preferred, but innovative options may be considered for Houghton Weir. The design must comply with LIT 75351 AM TA Eel Pass maintenance guide. The work is called off from a framework agreement.
