The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking sources for a compact 1156 nm fiber laser system. The laser must deliver at least 1 W output power, operate in continuous wave or pulsed mode, and have a linewidth less than 1 MHz. It should be fiber-coupled with a single-mode output. This is a sources sought notice for market research only; no contract will be awarded from this notice. Interested vendors must submit capability statements by the response date.
