Culturally relevant mental health support for Black offenders in Ontario and Nunavut.
Correctional Service Canada seeks a contractor to provide continuous, culturally relevant mental health support and programming to federally incarcerated Black offenders in the Ontario and Nunavut Region. The contractor must collaborate with a Black-focused, Black-led community agency to deliver culturally competent mental health services, including in-person engagement sessions at each institution and ongoing group and individual sessions. The objective is to ensure uninterrupted access to culturally safe mental health services, build emotional resilience, and support reintegration. The contract covers all federal institutions in the region.
