Extension for over cladding works on two Swansea University buildings.
Swansea University extends the tender submission deadline for over cladding works on two buildings at Singleton Campus: Margam Building (3-storey academic) and Union House Building (4-storey academic/student activity). The project involves retrofit façade upgrades including over cladding, improved insulation, and replacement of glazing and doors as part of a wider decarbonisation scheme. Works will occur in a live environment. Tenderers will be appointed on a two-stage basis; initially pricing the Margam building design (more advanced due to external funding), with Union House design to be progressed to RIBA Stage 3 later. The employer reserves discretion to use this mechanism or start a new process.
