Bus services tender for two units in Wellington region, depot development included.
Greater Wellington Regional Council, through its Metlink brand, seeks experienced operators to tender for public transport bus services across two units: Unit 22 (North-South) and Unit 23 (Porirua-Tawa). The contract includes development of a potential new depot on a greenfield site. Contract award is expected December 2026, with service delivery commencing July 2028. This RFT is managed via a Virtual Data Room; operators must register to access documents. A market briefing will be held on 5 May 2026.
