NIST seeks sources for cryogenic thermally insulating waveguide.
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) seeks sources for a thermally insulating waveguide to be used in a cryogenic environment. The waveguide must operate at frequencies from 0.5 to 40 GHz with low thermal conductivity and high electrical conductivity. Respondents must demonstrate capability to manufacture such a waveguide, including experience with cryogenic applications. The place of performance is Boulder, Colorado. This is a sources sought notice, not a solicitation.
