Roofing replacement at Clyde Quay School, Wellington, staged over Christmas holidays.
The Ministry of Education - School Infrastructure seeks a main building contractor for roofing works at Clyde Quay School in Mt Victoria, Wellington. The project involves replacing membrane roofing on Block A with a pitched metal roofing solution requiring re-framing, and replacing pitched metal roofing on Block B with new metal roofing, including removal and reinstatement of solar panels. Clear roofing will be replaced with trafficable translucent roofing over wire mesh. Works will be staged to minimize disruption, targeting the Christmas school holidays, with a start in mid-December 2026 and completion as early as possible in the new year.
