Heritage design team for Margam Castle redevelopment project.
Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council seeks a conservation architect-led multidisciplinary design team for the National Lottery Heritage Fund project 'Reimagining Margam Castle'. The team must include conservation architecture, mechanical & electrical engineering, and structural & civil engineering. The appointed consultant will act as lead consultant, lead designer, and principal designer (CDM). Bidders must have conservation accreditation (AABC, RIBA SCA or equivalent) and experience with scheduled monuments and listed buildings, ideally in Wales. The project runs until February 2028, with funding secured for the development phase leading to a Round 2 application.
