Interim road surfacing contract for Down area, up to 12 months.
The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) Transport and Road Asset Management (TRAM) is procuring an interim Measured Term Contract for road surfacing maintenance and improvement works in the Down contract area of the UK. The contract covers carriageway resurfacing, asphalt works, temporary traffic management, drainage adjustments, and ancillary highway works. It is initially for two months, extendable up to 12 months, with individual work orders ranging from £50,001 to £750,000. This is a below-threshold open competition, intended as a short-term arrangement until a replacement contract via the RAM Surfacing Framework is mobilized. Bidders must be capable of delivering multiple concurrent resurfacing schemes and managing safety-critical works.
