Community food growing service for Leicester City Council.
Leicester City Council is commissioning a community food growing service to build on a previous programme. The provider will develop food growing opportunities, deliver workshops, training, and networking events to promote ecotherapy and green space awareness. The aim is to improve physical and mental health, increase social inclusion, and strengthen community resilience. The contract is for 3 years (April 2027 to March 2030) with an option to extend up to 5 years, valued at £300,000 (excl. VAT).
