The Société Néo-Calédonienne d'Énergie (ENERCAL) seeks a contractor for the design and construction of a pumped-storage hydroelectric plant (STEP) at Tontouta, New Caledonia. The plant will have a turbine capacity of 100 MW and a pumping capacity of 130 MW. The project includes civil works, electromechanical equipment, and grid connection. Bidders must demonstrate experience in large-scale hydroelectric projects, particularly pumped-storage systems. The contract value is estimated over €100 million, with a construction period of approximately 5 years.
