NZ MFAT seeks contractor for Vanuatu school construction up to NZD $16.3M.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) of New Zealand, on behalf of Vanuatu's Ministry of Education and Training, seeks a construction contractor for resilient education infrastructure across Vanuatu. The contract covers three workstreams: clearing repair backlog from past disasters, repairing future disaster damage, and supporting routine school upgrades. Works are dispersed across Vanuatu, requiring mobilization outside Port Vila. The contract may extend to 2033 with an estimated value up to NZD $16.3 million. Suppliers must demonstrate capability, Pacific experience, and quality/H&S compliance. The procurement uses a two-stage process: Registration of Interest (ROI) in Q3 2026, followed by RFP.
