Framework for apheresis machines, consumables, and maintenance across England and Wales.
NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) is establishing an Open Framework for the purchase of therapeutic apheresis machines, consumables, and maintenance to support Extracorporeal Photopheresis (ECP), Apheresis Collection, Exchange and Depletion Procedures (including Bone Marrow). The framework covers supply, maintenance, and consumables for multi-apheresis and ECP systems across 10 dedicated units in England and Wales. NHSBT is a Special Health Authority providing blood components and therapeutic services to hospitals. The framework aims to ensure regional access to apheresis services for adults and children.
