FHWA seeks lab safety evaluation and plan assessment at research center.
The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) seeks a contractor to evaluate laboratory safety and assess safety plans at its Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center in McLean, VA. The contractor will conduct a comprehensive review of existing safety protocols, identify gaps, and provide recommendations for improvement. The work includes assessing chemical, biological, and physical hazards, as well as reviewing training programs and emergency procedures. The contractor must have experience in laboratory safety assessments and hold relevant certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH). The period of performance is 12 months with one optional year.
