LGA seeks supplier for LGR leadership course for councillors, Nov 2026 & Jan 2027.
The Local Government Association (LGA) seeks a supplier to update and deliver an in-person Leadership Essentials programme on Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) for councillors. The programme will run twice, in November 2026 and January 2027, targeting councillors in authorities undergoing reorganisation, including Shadow Councillors, Joint Committee members, Leaders, Deputy Leaders, and relevant Portfolio Holders. The course aims to equip participants with leadership skills to navigate complex change programmes, focusing on governance, stakeholder engagement, and organisational change. The successful supplier will refresh existing content to reflect recent developments in unitary authority geographies. Delivery may be supported by an LGA Member peer. The previous programme achieved 100% positive feedback.
