National flood hazard model design and build for New Zealand.
The Ministry for the Environment seeks a supplier or consortium to design, build, document, test, and transfer a national flood hazard model for New Zealand. The model must be modular, transparent, auditable, maintainable, and capable of future uplift. Deliverables include raster flood hazard layers, vector flood inundation extents, metadata, confidence information, QA evidence, a consolidated Model Technical Report, and supporting documentation. The outputs must be compatible with the Stage 1 framework for the New Zealand Flood Map. This is a reusable national modelling asset with associated geospatial outputs.
