The Vale of Glamorgan Council seeks a competent contractor to establish a 3-year framework (with optional 1-year extension) for electrical installation, rewiring, testing, inspection, repair, and maintenance of its housing stock of approximately 4,200 residential properties (flats and single/multi-storey dwellings) across the Vale of Glamorgan area. The contractor must ensure compliance with Welsh Housing Quality Standards and the Council's five-yearly servicing programme, provide prompt works with high tenant satisfaction, and maintain real-time tracking and certification. Bidders must be registered with CHAS or Constructionline, all operatives must have Cat B Asbestos Awareness qualification, and electrical operatives must hold NICEIC accreditation or equivalent. Contact with site residents during bidding is prohibited and will lead to disqualification.
