Subcontractor for precast UTX chambers and duct installation on HS2 NC2A.
EKFB JV, managing the HS2 North Chilterns to Aylesbury (NC2A) section, seeks a specialist subcontractor for installation of precast concrete Under Track Crossing (UTX) chamber systems and adjoining ducts. The subcontractor will provide all management, labor, materials, plant, and equipment to safely complete installation and handover, including dewatering, edge protection, setting out, installation of precast chambers and covers, supply and installation of ducting, and concrete works. The contractor supplies precast chambers and covers and undertakes excavation to formation level; the subcontractor completes excavation for chambers and ducts. Works must comply with HS2 standards and local authority specifications. The contract is part of the HS2 high-speed rail project in the UK.
