The University of Waikato seeks proposals for a modern, off-the-shelf Research and Ethics Management System (RMS) to replace legacy and manual processes. The solution must support the full research lifecycle including proposals, funding, ethics, contracts, and governance, with end-to-end ethics management for human and animal research. It should integrate with enterprise systems (Finance, HR, identity, research) and enable structured data capture and reporting. The initial priority is ethics management, targeted operational by end of 2026. The University is not seeking bespoke or heavily customized solutions.
