Erosion research services for Czech bentonite buffer material.
The Czech organization Správa úložišť radioaktivních odpadů (SÚRAO) is procuring engineering-related scientific and technical services for an erosion program focused on Czech bentonite. The scope includes research and testing to assess the erosion behavior of bentonite, which is used as a buffer material in radioactive waste disposal. The contract is expected to last 48 months with an estimated value of CZK 30 million (approx. EUR 1.2 million). Bidders must demonstrate experience in similar geological and geotechnical studies. The tender is open to all EU entities.
