Design services for Doncaster West depot siding reinstatement under TRU.
Network Rail Infrastructure Limited is procuring design services for the Depots and Stabling Project under the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) programme. The contract covers ES4 design development and ES5 detailed design for reinstating siding No 6 at Doncaster West depot to stable a 9-car Azuma trainset, including associated civil, structural, permanent way, and signalling works. The contractor must act as Principal Designer, undertake necessary surveys, and ensure designs comply with Network Rail Standards. Engineering assurance will be provided by TRU Engineering. The design is not mature at tender stage; an ES3 feasibility study will be issued post-award.
