Market testing for SuDS installation on 411 Bristol properties.
Bristol City Council is conducting soft market testing for an end-to-end service to install property-level Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) and rainwater management measures on council-owned and private housing stock in the River Frome catchment area, including East Bristol and Lockleaze. The service includes feasibility assessments, hydraulic analysis, resident engagement, supply and installation of rainwater butts and planters, and post-installation monitoring. The target area comprises 411 addresses across 154 buildings in 21 publicly owned housing developments. The aim is to reduce surface water flooding and increase flood resilience.
