Post Office Limited is procuring Horizon replacement services under two lots. Lot 1 covers a replacement service provider to transition from incumbent Fujitsu on a Walk In Take Over basis, with optional stabilisation upgrades and long-term transformation to cloud-based technologies. Lot 2 is for a fully supported commercial off-the-shelf EPOS system provided as SaaS, requiring minimal bespoke customisations, with ongoing support and updates but excluding physical deployment. The procurement uses a competitive flexible procedure. The standstill period for Lot 2 has been extended multiple times, with OneView Commerce, Inc. identified as the successful supplier. The contract is expected to be signed after July 2026.
