NOAA charters ROV vessel for deep sea coral survey.
NOAA's National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) seeks to charter a vessel equipped with a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) to conduct a deep sea coral survey in the Northeast Canyons and Seamounts Marine National Monument off Massachusetts. The survey will document coral and sponge communities using high-resolution video and still imagery. The contractor must provide a vessel with dynamic positioning, a work-class ROV with HD cameras and manipulator arms, and experienced crew. The period of performance is approximately 14 days between July and September 2026. This is a total small business set-aside.
