Tendring District Council seeks contractors for Jaywick Sands open spaces regeneration.
Tendring District Council (TDC) is conducting preliminary market engagement for the Jaywick Sands Public Open Spaces Regeneration Project, part of a wider £19.8 million regeneration programme. Approximately £3.2 million is allocated to improve public open spaces. The project includes comprehensive reconstruction and resurfacing of Brooklands Road (currently unadopted), drainage improvements, traffic calming, pedestrian safety enhancements, and public realm upgrades at multiple locations. Suppliers must consider flood-risk area, ecological constraints, and Biodiversity Net Gain requirements. This engagement is for market testing only and does not affect future procurement.
