MFAT seeks ECI for Niue Justice Building construction.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) of New Zealand, under its International Development Cooperation Programme, is issuing an advance notice for Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) services for the Niue Justice Building project. The project involves designing and constructing a new Justice Building in Niue, including courtrooms, judicial chambers, office space, a court registry, and archival space. The ECI contract is expected to be awarded in early 2027, with potential continuation to construction services via NZS3910:2023, subject to funding approvals and performance. The procurement will be a two-stage open market process: a Registration of Interest (ROI) phase in Q3 2026, followed by a closed Request for Proposal (RFP) for shortlisted suppliers.
