Planning consultant for 2 MW solar farm in Penrith.
Westmorland and Furness Council seeks a planning and design consultant to prepare and submit a planning application for a c. 2 MW solar photovoltaic farm on council-owned land at Redhills, Penrith. The project is part of the Council's Renewables Generation Programme, supporting its Carbon Management Strategy 2024-2029 and net zero Scope 1 and 2 emissions target by 2037. The consultant will handle initial design and planning submission for the solar PV installation. This complements the Council's existing 2 MW operational solar farm at Sandscale.
