Framework for level access shower installations in occupied homes.
North Tyneside Council seeks a framework agreement for supply, installation, and completion of level access showers and associated bathroom adaptations in occupied residential properties. Works must comply with building regulations and the Authority's housing adaptation standards, with minimal disruption to residents. The Authority funds adaptations following occupational therapist assessments, covering both Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) funded works and tenanted properties within its housing stock. The framework is managed by the Adaptations & Loan Equipment Service (ALES) based in Newcastle upon Tyne.
