Supply of HVO fuel for RRS Discovery in Southampton.
The National Oceanography Centre requires the supply of Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) fuel for the RRS Discovery, berthed in Southampton, UK. The estimated quantity is 360,000 litres (approx. 281 metric tonnes), delivered by road tanker wagon. Fuel must comply with EN 15940, be derived from used cooking oil (no palm oil or animal fats), have sulphur content <5 mg/kg, and flash point >=60°C. The supplier must provide fuel specification, samples, Safety Data Sheet, Bunker Delivery Note, and sustainability documentation (ISCC or RFAS certified). This is a direct award notice.
