The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) seeks sources for a 64-slice air-cooled CT system for use at the University of Miami's Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science in Key Biscayne, Florida. The system will be used for scanning marine mammals and sea turtles as part of NOAA's marine animal health and research programs. Key requirements include a 64-slice detector, air-cooled X-ray tube, gantry aperture of at least 70 cm, and compatibility with existing animal handling equipment.
