The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to award a sole source maintenance agreement for Thermo Fisher Scientific mass spectrometry and chromatography systems, including Orbitrap Ascend, Orbitrap Fusion, and Vanquish models. The contract covers full-service maintenance, repair, and preventative maintenance for these instruments located in North Carolina. Only Thermo Fisher Scientific or its authorized distributors can provide the required proprietary parts and service. The period of performance is one base year plus four option years.
