VA seeks MR Safety Expert for Fayetteville VAMC.
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking sources for a Magnetic Resonance Safety Expert (MRSE) to support the VA Mid-Atlantic Health Care Network (VISN 6) at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center in North Carolina. The contractor will provide MR safety expertise, including MR safety officer duties, policy development, and staff training. The requirement is for a qualified individual with certification as an MR Safety Expert (MRSE) from the American Board of Magnetic Resonance Safety (ABMRS) or equivalent. The contract is expected to be for one base year plus four option years. This is a sources sought notice for market research; no contract will be awarded from this notice.
