Fire and Emergency New Zealand seeks to establish a national panel of suppliers for telecommunications installation services across its network of sites. The scope includes installation, upgrade, commissioning, remediation, and decommissioning of radio, paging, satellite, and related systems at station sites and remote locations. A key focus is the Personal Alerting Generation 2 programme, involving upgrading and decommissioning infill paging sites within defined timeframes. Suppliers must have strong technical capability, proven experience in critical infrastructure telecommunications installations, and ability to operate safely in remote and high-risk locations. The panel is non-exclusive with no guaranteed minimum volume; work allocated based on capability, capacity, performance, and regional coverage.
