Gas quality audit inspections for Sandwell Council housing.
Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council seeks a qualified auditor to conduct Gas Quality Audits, supplementing the in-house team. The contract covers post-service audits within 4 weeks of annual inspections, including full strip-down of serviceable appliances and visual inspection of flueless appliances. Audits on boiler replacements and new installations are also required to ensure compliance with gas regulations and SMBC specifications. The auditor must hold ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1, DAH1) and an assessor/auditor qualification (A1, A2, D32, D33, or TAQA) with at least 7 years' gas industry experience. The scope includes assessing paperwork, providing reports, and conducting work-in-progress inspections.
