Market engagement for independent voice service in adult social care.
Peterborough City Council is seeking input from potential providers for a future independent voice and engagement service for Adult Social Care, to commence from April 2027. The current contract with Healthwatch Cambridgeshire and Peterborough expires on 31 March 2027, and legislative changes may remove the statutory duty for a local Healthwatch. The new service will ensure residents' voices influence social care design and improvement, with key deliverables including feedback routes, analysis of themes, support for partnership boards, and broad community engagement. Providers with experience in listening to people, engaging communities, and gathering insight are invited to a market engagement event on 4 August 2025. The contract value is not disclosed, but the service is expected to be ongoing.
