The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) seeks to replace the existing generator and automatic transfer switch (ATS) at Building 4 in Boulder, Colorado. The scope includes demolition of existing equipment, furnishing and installing a new diesel generator (minimum 500 kW), ATS, fuel system, and associated electrical and structural work. The contractor must be licensed in Colorado and have experience with similar projects. The contract is a firm-fixed-price with a performance period of approximately 365 days after award. This is a total small business set-aside under NAICS 238210 (Electrical Contractors).
