Tool pre-setting area for CNC machining at Queen's University Belfast.
Queen's University Belfast, through its Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre (AMIC), seeks to procure a Tool Pre-Setting Area for CNC machining. The equipment will be used for offline tool setting, balancing, heat shrinking, and monitoring to improve setup efficiency and machining performance. It will support training in presetting and tool management, and enable digital integration for data-driven workflows. The equipment will be located at the AMIC Factory of the Future in Newtownabbey, with lower usage rates typical of a research facility. The contract includes supply, delivery, commissioning, installation, and maintenance.
