Convert science labs to special needs classrooms at Gisborne school.
The Ministry of Education - School Infrastructure seeks a contractor for Stage 1 of a two-stage project at Gisborne Boys' High School to convert two existing science labs and corridor space into learning support classrooms for 5 special needs pupils plus caregivers. Works include internal construction, new exterior timber deck and accessible ramp, fencing, asbestos removal, new joinery, plumbing and drainage. The site is level with good vehicle access. The contractor will be engaged through a Medium Works Contract with no tags. Project consultants are Architects 44 Limited. Phasing and staged handover may be negotiated.
