EFSA seeks R&D for novel allergenicity risk assessment of proteins.
The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) is procuring research and development services to develop a novel strategy for allergenicity risk assessment of proteins in regulated food and feed products. The project aims to improve current methodologies by integrating in silico, in vitro, and in vivo approaches. The contractor must have expertise in immunology, bioinformatics, and food safety. The contract duration is 36 months with an estimated value of €1-2 million. The work will be performed in Italy.
