Pharmacy Technician Clinical Skills Development

NHS England seeks a delivery partner to provide a clinical skills and knowledge training course for pharmacy technicians, aimed at developing their capability to deliver extended clinical services alongside NHS core services. The training is critical for patient safety as pharmacy technicians take on new services like Pharmacy First. The contract covers three 2-year programmes with a total value of £360,000 (inc. VAT), with each cohort costing £60,000 per annum. The procurement uses a 60% technical, 10% social value, 30% commercial weighting under the Light Touch Regime.
