Research services for sustainable food system transition modelling in Africa.
The European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) is procuring research and development services to model pathways for a sustainable and agroecological transition of food systems in Africa. The project involves developing quantitative models and scenarios to assess the impacts of different transition pathways on food security, environment, and socio-economic factors. The contractor must have proven experience in food system modelling, agroecology, and sustainability assessments, with a focus on African contexts. The contract is expected to last 24 months with a value estimated between €1 million and €10 million.
