DPS for battery storage systems for Finnish transport infrastructure.
The Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency (Väylävirasto) is establishing a dynamic purchasing system (DPS) for battery storage systems (accumulators) to be used in railway infrastructure and other transport-related applications. The DPS covers the procurement of batteries, related equipment, and maintenance services over a four-year period. Suppliers must demonstrate experience in delivering similar battery systems and comply with technical specifications for safety and performance. The estimated total value is between €1 million and €10 million, with individual contracts awarded through mini-competitions.
