Marine construction for fender upgrades at BIO Jetty, Dartmouth, NS.
Public Services and Procurement Canada, on behalf of Fisheries and Oceans Canada, seeks qualified contractors for marine construction services at the Bedford Institute of Oceanography Jetty in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The work involves removal and replacement of floating marine fender systems and associated anchorage hardware. This is a two-phase procurement: an Invitation to Qualify (ITQ) followed by an Invitation to Tender (ITT). Only suppliers meeting ITQ requirements, with experience as General Contractors on marine construction projects, will be invited to the ITT phase. The project is expected to be substantially completed within 34 weeks of contract award.
