W2WS Waipawa River Directional Drilling

Central Hawke's Bay District Council (CHBDC) seeks a contractor for a 350m horizontal directional drilling pipe installation underneath the Waipawa River, plus a 150m trenched section, as part of the Waipukurau Second Water Supply project. The wider project connects the Waipawa water treatment plant to Waipukurau with a reservoir. This EOI covers only the drilling and small trenched section; the remainder will be tendered through CHBDC's existing Pipeline and Civil Work Panel. The objective is to provide a supplementary water supply to Waipukurau to address risks with the current system.
