USCG seeks sources for MDE center section overhaul on CGC MORRO BAY.
The US Coast Guard seeks sources for the overhaul of the #2 Main Diesel Engine (MDE) center section aboard the CGC MORRO BAY. The work includes disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of the engine center section, with all work to be performed at the contractor's facility. The contractor must have experience with similar marine diesel engine overhauls and be capable of meeting Coast Guard quality standards. The period of performance is estimated at 60 days after award.
