NICE seeks external facilitator for Board Effectiveness Review 2026.
The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) is procuring an external facilitator to conduct a Board Effectiveness Review (BER) in 2026. The review must follow Cabinet Office guidance and comes after a new CEO appointment in December 2025 and other board changes. NICE previously commissioned an external BER in 2023 and conducted self-assessments in 2024 and 2025. The supplier will be expected to deliver a thorough assessment of board performance and effectiveness. The contract is below the threshold and open to competition.
