24-month aerial survey for offshore wind PDAs.
The Crown Estate seeks a single supplier for a 24-month Digital Aerial Survey (DAS) programme covering birds, marine mammals, and megafauna across Project Development Areas (PDAs) under Leasing Round 6 of its offshore wind programme. The contract includes monthly manned aircraft flights, data capture, processing, species identification, analysis, and reporting for all LR6 PDAs and buffer zones. Outputs must support Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Habitats Regulations Assessment (HRA) for offshore wind development. The initial term is 33 months starting November 2026.
