CFIA seeks lab services for chemical and allergen testing in food.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) requires analytical and laboratory services for testing chemical contaminants and/or allergens in foods, food crops, and tissues of food animals. The requirement is divided into Part A (7 food groups: Dairy, Eggs, Fish & Seafood, Fresh Fruit & Vegetables, Honey, Meat, Processed Products) and Part B (24 testing programs including 3-MCPD, Arsenic, BPA, etc.). Multiple contracts will be awarded; bidders may bid on one or multiple food groups and/or testing programs. Bids must be submitted by September 9, 2026 at 2 p.m. EST.
