Mid Devon District Council seeks a qualified commercial operator to finance, design, build, operate, and maintain a Padel Sports Centre on council-owned land. The operator will enter a commercial lease and run the facility at their own risk, covering all operational, maintenance, staffing, and marketing costs. The facility must meet Lawn Tennis Association standards and promote community participation. Active Mid Devon has over 7,000 members, providing a ready customer base. The project aims to expand leisure provision and generate commercial income.
